Newcastle University Sailing Club

The yachting coordinator picks a squad of 2 teams of 8. The team will train over winter before racing at the BUSA event at Easter. The yachting team may also compete at SUSA (same as BUSA but Scottish).

Training will depend on availability of boats to train on. Last year the squad trained on charted boats from Largs, which are the same as the boats used for BUSA and SUSA. Most of the squad also race on local boats at weekends out of the tyne.
